Although still a little discouraged on my photograghy, several of my fluke shots of the humpbacks are bieng used in the official ID catalogue at Allied Whale in Maine.  Thats pretty exciting. Well the Navy pulled another fast one.  Because there was a Money shortage over the summer, all orders for moves were canceled, and once they started moving people again, anyone who wanted to cancel shore duty early (hundreds if not thousands of sailors) were denied.  There is no where for us to go right now.  So we are stuck in the wonderful (sarcasim) state of Connecticut.  Sucks for me, it means more medication to keep my stress level down so I won't

I used to think I was pretty good at photograghy but now I am not so sure.  I own decent equipment, certainly not the top of the line but it still costs a pretty penny and produces good. I used to think I knew my camera pretty well, until I learned that there is so much more then the basic settings of auto, speed, and so on.  I used to think I had the "eye" until I seen other people who really do have that "eye".  Sure I am the only one that I know of in the dolphin community (that frequint the boards and all) that goes to Mystic on a regular basis, which in itself makes the photos special.  Not many people get that chance to go to a park on
